Barry Lee (They/Them) is an artist, illustrator and writer based in Atlanta, Georgia. They love being in nature, cooking and imagining new worlds.

Lee loves telling meaningful stories using a cast of colorful characters with a dash of mindfulness & intention.

Their process is rooted in making sure that the work that they put out is intentional whether that is doing extensive research for client projects or looking within their own intuition to create illustrations that resonate heavily with other’s experiences. For them, it is not just important to create work that is aesthetically pleasing to the eye but it’s also important to create work that is mindful of what the client is trying to convey.

They are the creator of the “Gentle Reminders” Oracle Deck and Guided Journal. Recently they illustrated Ryan Rae Harbuck’s “When I Grow Up I Want To Be A Chair!” published by Barefoot Books.

Barry is currently represented by Lara Perkins at Andrea Brown Literary for Children’s Book Illustrations.
